As a household of Gods wonderful believers, we believe that the word of God, the Bible, is of no private interpretation. The Bible clearly states this in II peter 1:20 Therefore if you or I were to interpret verses it would be "private" interpretation. If our ministry or another ministry were to interpret verses of scripture it would be... "Private" interpretation, or a minister or scholar were to it would STILL be "private" interpretation!
Now, if the word of God says it is of no "private" (Greek word idios meaning "ones own") interpretation then logically that leaves one of only two things. Either we can never hope to truly understand it, or else the Bible MUST interpret itself.
We are part of a world-wide group who have found that there are "basic" Biblical research keys that show HOW the scriptures in Gods Word interpret themselves, either right where they are written, in the context, or a word or words have been used before, (1st usage).
Also, unclear or seemingly "contradictory" scriptures can be understood in light of clear verses.
How exciting to get to the point in our lives where you and I can know that we know that we know!
If this is not fantastic enough, even more exciting is that the right-dividing of these scriptures of eternity hold the keys to "more abundant living"!
